for the way the newspaper has been run in the past by its now 25% stakeholder, the Daily Mail Group.
The Standard launches its apologetic advertising campaign on posters and buses in London.

The first edition of the (dead trees) London Evening Standard had quite some headline for the Israeli elections :
I admit to being rather gobsmacked.
The headline has now been changed (in the online edition anyway) to :
with a sub-heading of:

How will the Daily Mail report it?
