The Sun has launched its own military awards to salute itself the armed forces.
And they don’t seem too popular.
To add insult to injury, The Sun has named it after the Foreign Secretary and his cabinet minister brother, David and Ed Miliband.

Category number 2 is interesting.
Support to the Armed Forces
The winner of this award will be a civilian - a civil servant, a contractor or just an ordinary member of the public - who has provided invaluable help to the Armed Forces.
Will apologists Geoff Hoon, John Reid or Des Browne get the nod for their unstinting work ensuring essential military equipment was always at hand? Maybe Gordon or even Tony Blair….

I don’t for a second believe that this is an isolated case.
However, it is unique in that some sort of admission had to be made because a retired US General spilled the beans about Diego Garcia.
Geoff Hoon’s denials and stonewalling look even more contemptible.
