Lost In Space

New (short) animation for Channel 4 News.
So many were doing a Gordon Brown meets Mars Landing gags, I had to put a different spin on things.

There’s a bit of a problem with the sizing on C4’s site right now which makes it look a bit ragged but that should be sorted soon.

Boris Johnson, City Hall

Well I said the last one was work in progress. I liked the concept of the city hall as armour but I reckon this one could remain in progress for some time unless I start from scratch. Needs more work, caricature included but I reckon I’ll leave that for some other time.
Hopefully a short animation later today.
Here’s Quaequam on the Venezuela Oil Deal cancellation.
And, surprisingly Associated Newspapers (owners of The London Evening Standard) are having a dig about Boris over at the image-thieving-for-profit Daily Mail (I prefer not to link directly).

Dave Brown in The Independent

Humour, horror/drama, movie analogy and an outstanding style and talent.

and for when it is gone tomorrow (when the opinion page is updated) click here.

Here’s hoping his work doesn’t fall to the censor as the new regime at The Independent takes over.

Hopefully I’ll be posting more next week – I’ve been doing tax etc. paperwork all this week.

Mark Steel on Raytheon in Northern Ireland

Mark Steel’s ‘illegal’ article which The Independent wouldn’t run on ‘legal advice’.
(I wonder if the Independent’s incoming editor might have had a say in that decision?)

Read here in full on Mark Steel’s blog.

Cheers to Chicken Yogurt for the (passive) heads up.
Oops – and to Bob Piper.
No apologies for another outing for the image below.
