I’m no Superman – New picture for Channel 4 News
(by the way, the last letter in the image is a ‘D’ not an “r”)
Here are the two images I created for Channel 4 News that ran last week in the Blair resignation gallery.
If you want to see them much larger, just click on the image.
The Exorcist
Next !
I saw the film the other night and, although presentationally flawed in my opinion, it still is one you must see and tell others to see.
Rich or poor, left or right, the film covers (with some incredibly good footage) subjects that affect us all.
The book apparently comes out just before the film – Link here.
I’ll write more about it in the next couple of weeks.
Of course, the book and film need to be promoted effectively and the most important audience are those hardly aware of the creeping erosion of our civil liberties – A difficult audience to reach and persuade to see the film or read the book.
The best of luck to whoever is promoting these worthwhile projects.
Now, while official promotional work has to work within pretty strict guidelines, I’m sure some dickhead will probably think it a bit clever to do this sort of thing in major bookstores, something I could never condone.

I suppose a similar idea but with a different purpose, printed on labels could be just as foolhardy, especially when Blair’s memoirs come out.
Stickers bearing messages such as “Return this book within 45 minutes of an order and get your money back.” , “A real stomach turner.” , “This is an outstanding piece of work – Brian Sewell.” and “Dan Brown will be plagiarising this next year – Wait until then.” would, I’m sure, be frowned upon and should not be contemplated.
Take That, Rod Stewart, Kanye West, Lily Allen, Duran Duran, Bryan Ferry, Joss Stone, Pharrell Williams and Sir Elton John are all scheduled to play the Princess Diana Memorial Concert at Wembley on 1st July.
This will probably be the biggest televised concert since Live 8 and in the spirit of Live 8, I propose, again, that this concert marking 10 years since the death of The People’s Princess should be named Dead 10.

However, it seems that some bands are a bit impatient to wait for the gig as the BBC reports today that Joe Strummer has been brought back to life to boost his back catalogue.
