Amendment to Freedom of Information Act gets second chance after it was thought killed off.
Former Tory chief whip David Maclean’s proposal would allow MPs to be self-serving in relative secrecy.
A Tory might have introduced it but I’m sure there are many with different loyalties who would be grateful for their own little ‘invisibility cloak.’
Hopefully it is talked out again.
