Why can’t people talk and compromise - wearing jewellery under the uniform is OK.

So, the police will soon be starting to fingerprint drivers to confirm their identity.
The information will not be retained, they say.
In a country where biometric/DNA information is retained on thousands of innocent individuals, including children, I find this pretty hard to believe.
Voluntary will become compulsory and that database will grow ever larger.

It seems that Tessa Jowell is going to have a tough time today when she is questioned by the Commons culture, media and sport committee over rising costs of The Olympics.
These costs include VAT which was mysteriously missing in the calculations when London made its bid.
