    Gordon Brown’s Ship of State is drifting without a Rudder heading for the Rocks…

    Is the Paddle on this Canoe superfluous in Downing Creek ?

    The paddle may well be superfluous now but Brown’s used it quite effectively to manouevre himself into the rapids he’s now desperately fighting.
    Problem is, he’s not called the correct emergency service to help him out, he’s just brought someone onboard to tell those who find his body washed ashore that he was rather handy with a paddle.
