The Blair Years, Extracts from the Alastair Campbell Diaries, goes on sale today
Posted by: Beau Bo D'Or in Uncategorized, tags: Current Events, Gordon Brown, Images, PoliticsAlastair Campbell continues his low-key launch of his non-book, extracts from The Blair Years with non low-key appearances on any TV station that is prepared to have him - nearly all.

Apparently, the diaries leave out anything of note but will provide for his retirement if the gullible go out in droves to reward a man whose skill with words helped save the (coffin-size) Union Flag industry.
He claims that the news of David Kelly’s death was one of the lowest points of his life.
His pain was such that he chose to relive his dreadful ordeal (as penance or part of therapy?) when he and Cherie Blair autographed a copy of the Hutton Report - a report into the circumstances surrounding the death of Dr Kelly, which was then auctioned for £400 at a fundraising event.
This image of the more accurately titled book is revived (from quite recently) in honour of the book launch and as respect for a man for whom we must all feel sympathy (wipes away tear). I think Pamela Stephenson will probably have him in her sights for a televised session.

A warts and all account eh ? When did Campbell suddenly understand the concept of telling the truth ?
