If you don’t mind, just a quick comment on file optimization.
A few of your graphics have very large file sizes.
You should resize some of the images – 450px wide for a blog is fine and you should set compression for a jpg at about 80-85.
This should reduce the file size from app. 400Kb to maybe 60 or 70Kb and there will be no noticeable loss in quality.
