It’s called ‘SOCA’, an Americanism of the Scottishism of Football ‘FITBA’.
One of their responsibilities is broadly-defined as ‘Financial Intelligence’.
‘SOCA is the UK’s Financial Intelligence Unit. As such it receives and analyses suspicious activity reports (SAR’s) concerning suspected proceeds of crime in order to counter money laundering, and makes those SAR’s available to law enforcement and taxation agencies for appropriate action.’
It looks like they have their work cut out and probably on the doorstep of the bloke who publicly launched the agency this morning :
