It seems more than a bit of a coincidence that I’ve decided to vent my spleen on the day that Tim Ireland re-starts blogging with a vengeance but it is just that, a coincidence.
No, the reason that I’m doing so is because I’ve decided I’m going to do a bit more writing and the apology is to those who come here for images only and will be disappointed that they the flow is broken up by the bitching of a bitter and twisted mind.
Now, let’s clarify that.
I’m not bitter and twisted.
Today I will be bitter and tomorrow I may be twisted – or I may decide to be twisted on Wednesday and remain bitter on Tuesday.
On average, I will be bitter and twisted but rarely will I be both in the same day.
Fuck it, I reckon today will be one of those rare days.
I hope to keep producing a sufficient quantity of images and hope that some visitors will stick with me.
Some of you will not but, to be honest, I reckon blog rankings are far from the most important things in The World.
What I am saying is that, for those of you who’ve added me to their blogroll – Now is the time to wipe this particular arse-end of the blogosphere off your own arse. Ladies, remember, front to back, and do remember to wash your hands.
The language used will be the language I use in day to day conversation with those very few who are prepared to sit next to a disillusioned, miserable, neanderthal-looking sad fuck. Of course most of those individuals are also disillusioned and miserable and their only reason for for entering into conversation is that they look pretty good, in relative terms, by sitting next to me.
So, for those at work and those of a nervous disposition and greater social sensibilities than myself, I should flag up that the this site will be NSFW as far as text is concerned.
I have no plans whatsoever to post NSFW images and those I believe to be of slight concern, I will post on a separate page as I did with the Mills McCartney image.
More text later today and hopefully an image but I thought you should flag up a change in this site’s policy.
I’ll probably post a few thought on Labour, the Tories and The Lib Dems – most probably Super Casinos and Mark Thomas as well.
I suppose then it will be a bit clearer where I stand. Just because I post images condemning Tony Blair doesn’t mean I’m a Tory and I’m fucked if I will ever vote for Labour again – Sorry Alex.
Opening Up Comments
I was reluctant to do so because I wasn’t prepared to enter into a dialogue about the images. You get them or you don’t and I’m buggered if I’m going to defend them or explain them if they are a bit too cryptic.
There is the school of thought that an image should hit you between the eyes – that they must have an immediate impact. The web is full of stuff which will do that.
Some of my images will be of this type, but I admit I do sometimes enjoy the more cryptic and appreciate those who are not after instant gratification and, rather than hit the back button, are prepared to think about the image before deciding I am a pretentious cunt.
The other problem is bandwidth.
As I run images from my own server (which, despite the free alternatives, I want to do), every visit take a fair bit more bandwidth than your average text based blog. Now that my images may be interspersed with some diatribe, the load may not be so heavy.
I’ll monitor how things go.
The image posts will not be open for comment but the diatribe probably will.
I may as well open up the comments on this particular post and see how it goes. I will start off moderating, though.
Now, just as others have recently done, I’ve also decided to make a few changes to my blogroll and there will probably be a few more changes to come.
Thank you to those who visit regularly. Although I’ve said that blog rankings are not that important to me, that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate your patronage and I do hope I can continue to provide some entertainment to yourselves.
And finally, to the bloke who got me into this blogging lark. Good to see you back.
(edited for clarification) We may not always agree on everything but, you know, I think we come pretty fucking close to it.
The amendment to my blogroll is not because of your last post but a different thing entirely – but I have taken your points on board.
There are very few bloggers who are truly interactive and, by that, I mean someone whose posted beliefs and ideas are taken into the non-cyber world and onto the streets.

I don’t believe you. My tinfoil hat is vibrating madly!
;o)
I look forward to seeing more from the mind behind those glorious, glorious images.
Great stuff mate. Pictures can only vent so much spleen. You’ve changed my blog, it’s much more visual now, it just used to be long rants, nothing wrong with that but it needs a little leavening, a thousand words an all that. Thanks for the images keep up the good work.
I agree with Tim. I’m glad to see you writing as well as creating great images. Long may you continue to do both. And thank you so much for those images. They made a big difference to my blog too.
Nice to have the chance to say how much I enjoy your images. I don’t always get them, living in Australia, but they are top class.
