Update:
There is a little debate over at Archbishop Cranmer’s site about this image.
Yes, I was aware that the viewer could interpret the image in whatever way he or she wanted but I decided to complete it anyway.
Was Darling crucified by the Tories, the press, the public?
Is Darling a victim?
Is Darling a saviour who shall rise from the dead (OK that IS laughable.)
When used on someone else’s site, the interpretation of the image is that of whoever runs the site.
Cheers for the comments.

He’d probably like that.
Pass the nails.
Hmmm…
His Grace ventured here in the hope that you might have applied your creative juices to David Cameron’s observation that this is the ‘government of the living dead’. A picture of Darling zombified would have been very useful.
His Grace is in two minds as to whether he might borrow this example of your truly outstanding creativity. To post it upon his august religio-political blog might offend some of his communicants…
Sod it.
It is now posted.
With thanks and blessings as ever.
You are a politico-visual genius.
Directed here by the link on Archbishop Cranmer’s blog. Very pleased by what I found (and incidentally, the Archbishop is also a prophet … the posting of the image on his blog has caused some consternation!).
A very clever and striking image, however I feel you have the victim & the torturer the wrong way round. Surely it should have been Darling, Brown, Mandleson & cohorts hammering in the nails whilst we get crucified?
Rebel Saint,
There is truth in what you say.
I have also updated the original post with comments about the image’s interpretation.
Cheers.
