London Evening Standard, The Israeli Elections and ‘The Three Warmongers’

The first edition of the (dead trees) London Evening Standard had quite some headline for the Israeli elections :

“Israelis go to polls to choose between three warmongers.”

I admit to being rather gobsmacked.
The headline has now been changed (in the online edition anyway) to :

“Israelis go to the polls in tight election race.”

with a sub-heading of:

“Commentary: Israelis go to polls to choose between three hawks”
