Well, the problems I’ve been having with a weekly magazine seemed close to being resolved.

I had a call from a nice bloke from the magazine and we discussed the situation. I hoped we could resolve the issue to the benefit of all viral creators and he seemed quite positive about this.

He made other suggestions which I didn’t think would work in the current climate and made an offer which I agreed to as long as it was understood that acceptance of this did not mean the matter was resolved and did not affect my rights in any way.

Since then, nothing.

An email asking for an update on the situation has been ignored and one of my suggestions that was supposedly taken on board has not happened.
Maybe I should give it a little more time but the fact that there has been no reply to my enquiry for an update probably says it all.

I shall continue with my attempts to resolve the situation and keep those of you who are interested updated, including the publisher’s lawyers who seem to visit from time to time.

Thank you to those of you who have been in touch with messages of support and especially to those who have offered their services free of charge. After Monday’s phone call I didn’t think I’d need these but it seems that I shall.

I suppose I’ll wait until Tuesday to see if the magazine has taken up on my second suggestion and then will work out what to do.
