Gordon Brown seems well insulated from the complaints about fuel prices.

Already considering a deal with Jeremy Kyle on a TV show to get people off the dole, the government may want to address the death rate this winter as heating prices go through the (poorly insulated) roof.

Maybe Brown and Channel 4 could work together on a variation of ‘A Place In The Sun’ - ‘A Place In The Ground’, where pensioners can pick out their ideal burial plots. Presented, of course, by Amanda Lamb, once the face of the Scottish Widows advertising campaign.
